Collaborate with campus departments to evaluate and implement security, card access, fire, and CCTV systems to meet University standards. Assist in programming host computers and microprocessors, ensuring proper operation of hardware, software, and network security. Use electronic test equipment to evaluate system functionality and troubleshoot issues. Provide recommendations for system improvements and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities. Engineer and program security, fire, and CCTV systems in collaboration with campus departments. Select and procure system hardware and components to meet project schedules. Fabricate custom electronic circuits or assemblies and housings for specialized applications. Supervise programming of host computers and microprocessors, ensuring all security protocols are operational. Train other technicians and operators, provide work direction, and oversee compliance with preventative maintenance schedules.
