**Your role and responsibilities**
As an ISV Partner Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging Build partners, understanding their solutions, and creating an IBM Software point of view that drives business growth. You will be assigned to a prioritized set of existing Build partners and/or high propensity ISV prospects, with a focus on delivering software revenue success. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop and Maintain Brand Skills: Develop and maintain a depth of skills in your assigned Brand to support partner's Build opportunities, utilizing project management, strategic communication, and sales tooling to drive results.
• Engage and Support Partners: Engage Build partners, understand their solutions, and create an IBM Software point of view that creates an environment of favor to embed IBM Software, connecting solutions to IBM's go-to-market.
• Manage Partner Activities: Utilize territory planning to manage activities such as sales campaigns, lead pass, progression, enablement, advocacy, and local recruitment with assigned partners.
• Co-Create Solutions: Augment partners' engagements with IBM's breadth of capabilities, including Hybrid Cloud Build Team, Technical Sellers, Expert Labs, and Marketing, to co-create solutions.
• Deliver Revenue Success: Drive software revenue success with assigned partners, measured by key performance indicators.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Exposure to Software Sales: Experience working with software sales, including understanding partner solutions and creating a software point of view that drives business growth.
• Project Management Skills: Exposure to project management principles and practices, including utilizing project management tools to drive results.
• Brand Skills Development: Experience working with a specific brand, developing and maintaining a depth of skills to support partner's build opportunities. • Territory Planning: Exposure to territory planning, managing activities such as sales campaigns, lead pass, progression, enablement, advocacy, and local recruitment with assigned partners.
• Sales Tooling Proficiency: Experience working with sales tooling, including ISC/PRM, to manage and drive sales activities.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
• Hybrid Cloud Knowledge: Exposure to hybrid cloud concepts and technologies, including understanding how to leverage IBM's Hybrid Cloud Build Team to co-create solutions with partners.
• Technical Sales Familiarity: Experience working with technical sales teams, including understanding how to collaborate with Technical Sellers to drive sales activities and deliver revenue success.
• Marketing Principles Understanding: Exposure to marketing principles and practices, including understanding how to leverage IBM's Marketing capabilities to augment partner engagements and drive business growth.
