Job Description
The successful candidate will operate an array of processing equipment following established, documented methodologies and work well within a fast-paced, multi-faceted, team-oriented work environment.
ResponsibilitiesSet-up, operate, and sanitize processing equipment.Manufacture media and solutions to support production staff.Operate and troubleshoot automated Inline Buffer Dilution equipment.Prepare buffers directly supporting formulation of product, including labeling, filtration, and bottling.Follow SOP documents and effectively record all data in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).Take in-process measurements and perform routine quantitative and qualitative biological and chemical analytical tests.Conduct significant technical cleaning.Maintain consumable supplies for buffer and media preparation.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.Ability to multitask effectively.Good laboratory and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a team environment.Willingness to work hours necessary according to manufacturing needs, structured around a M-F first shift schedule.Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsTwo plus years of industrial experience.Hands-on experience with downstream processing equipment and protocols, including sanitization, general operation, troubleshooting, and associated manufacturing tasks.Working knowledge of upstream/downstream processing.Experience with controlled documentation software and SAP.Experience with SCADA and using ELN software.Work Environment
You will be working in a lab with 8 other individuals. The preferred hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility from 8:00am-4:00pm. This is a business casual work environment. The team is super friendly and very passionate about their mission. It is a hardworking team that also likes to have fun.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
