**Job description**
The Business Unit Manager will lead, manage, and grow the aerospace division, ensuring operational excellence, strategic alignment, and financial performance. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the BU including production, engineering, business development, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in aerospace manufacturing, a strong business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward achieving aggressive growth targets.

**Candidate skills & requirements**
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8–15 years of experience in aerospace or a high-precision manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or BU management role.
Strong understanding of aerospace quality systems (AS9100, ISO, etc.).
Demonstrated success in managing P&L and growing business units.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Experience in customer-facing roles and program management a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of aerospace supply chain and OEM/Tier-1 customer expectations.
Proven experience in scaling operations, launching new products, or expanding into new markets.
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing technologies.
