BU Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) for APAC will provide strategic financial leadership to the Business Unit across the Asia Pacific region. This role acts as a key advisor to BU leadership, driving business performance, ensuring financial discipline, and enabling informed decision‑making. The FBP will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Global Finance to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence in the region

How will you make an impact:

Serve as the primary finance advisor to the APAC [BU] leadership team.Support development and execution of BU strategy including annual operation plans, mid‑term strategic planning, and market expansion initiatives.Challenge and influence key stakeholders with insights, scenarios, and recommendations.Translate financial insights into actionable business strategiesLead APAC BU budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning cycles.Provide detailed analysis on revenue, gross margins, OPEX, working capital, and profitability.Build financial models to evaluate pricing, promotions, investments, and new product launches.Ensure forecast accuracy and support corporate FP&A with variance explanationsTrack key KPIs for the BU and drive performance discussions with business leaders.Identify risks and opportunities, propose mitigation actions, and follow through on execution.Conduct monthly business reviews with senior leadershipEnsure strong financial discipline aligned with corporate policies.Strengthen controls over revenue recognition, accruals, and capex approvalsWork closely with global and regional finance teams to align regional results with corporate expectations.Collaborate with HR, Legal, and other functions on workforce planning, compliance, and operational improvements.Act as the voice of APAC BU finance in global projects, systems implementations, and process harmonization.

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field 10+ years in finance experience, ideally with exposure to commercial finance, FP&A, or business partneringStrong business acumen about industry. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives, and fluent in both written and verbal EnglishStrong analytical skills; ability to interpret complex data and provide clear commendations.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
