Job Description:

[Summary]

The Brokerage staff is responsible for supporting clearance service to customers. He/she follows operation plans and work procedure to meet customer deadlines, maintains a close relationship with customer.
This role will actively engage in auditing description on invoice to be submitted for the customs clearance in timely manner. 
He/she will be the one point of contact for customer enquiries and have a strong command of our customer service policies, and be well-versed and trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate resolution to customer's shipment.
And he/she will be responsible to follow up and help close out internal and external enquires.
Possible to perform daily operation according to timeline & Help team member to complete daily operation according to timeline

[Key accountabilities]

* Handling import clearance process following work procedure
* Providing customers/broker support in the clearance and ensuring data accuracy and integrity
* Providing customers accurate clearance information and procedure.
* Communicating and gathering requirements from customers and provide feedback to broker for clearance.
* Responds to customer queries to ensure timely disposition of freight and paperwork and to support customer satisfaction. 
* Assists with problem resolution to meet customer needs and customs compliance
* Work flexibility with other brokerage positions
* Maintaining compliance, work procedure and UPS Policy
* Complete training related career development
* Support other brokerage business/training
* Brokerage administration support (eg. Lead purchase order(local PO))
* Data analysis ability and find new and innovative way to improve service quality

[Job requirement]

* Minimum 1 years of experience in import customs clearance or a related field
*Proven ability in employee training, development, and performance management
*Proficient in English for internal/external business communications, or successful completion of the company’s internal English assessment
*Strong ability to monitor, improve, and resolve operational issues based on UPS internal procedures
*Capable of conducting data analysis to identify root causes and propose actionable improvement plans
*Skilled in customer communication and liaising with public/government authorities (e.g., Customs)
*Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, including licensed customs brokers
*Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
*Possesses a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

[Working Hours]

Weekdays: 09:00 AM – 18:00PM (Lunch break: 12:00–13:00)
Saturday/Sunday: Rotational shifts based on a duty roster
