Duties and Responsibilities for Breakfast Commis Chef
As a Breakfast Commis Chef, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional morning dining experience. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, you will ensure that every breakfast dish meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Breakfast Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking breakfast items, ensuring consistency and excellence across all dishes served during morning service.Mise en Place: Organize and maintain your breakfast station, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for a smooth and efficient service.Learning Development: Take an active role in training sessions, learning new techniques, and applying feedback to enhance your culinary skills.Compliance Hygiene: Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines and company policies.Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a positive, efficient, and supportive kitchen environment.Equipment Care: Ensure all tools, utensils, and workstations are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.About You
Basic experience in a professional kitchen or culinary trainingUnderstanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standardsAbility to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressureStrong teamwork and communication skillsExperience Preferred
