We are seeking a goal oriented, motivated Breakfast Buffet Attendant to join our dynamic team. Compensation: $21.50 to $22.50 per hour, Full-Time Varies

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Breakfast Buffet Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guests have a pleasant and satisfying start to their day by maintaining a well-organized, clean, and fully stocked breakfast buffet area. This position requires attentiveness to detail and a proactive approach to replenishing food items, beverages, and utensils promptly to meet guest needs. The attendant will interact courteously with guests, addressing any inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in compliance with health regulations is essential to this role. Ultimately, the Breakfast Buffet Attendant contributes significantly to the overall guest satisfaction and positive reputation of the accommodation facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe). Experience working in a hotel or similar accommodation environment preferred. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Familiarity with dietary restrictions and allergen information. At least two years of experience in Food & Beverage.  Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up the breakfast buffet area before service begins, ensuring all food items, beverages, and utensils are properly arranged and presented attractively. Monitor buffet stations continuously during service to replenish food and drink items promptly and maintain cleanliness. Assist guests by answering questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and special requests in a friendly and professional manner. Clean and sanitize buffet equipment, serving utensils, and dining areas regularly to comply with health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to communicate guest feedback and ensure smooth operation of breakfast service.
