We are looking for a Pitching Coordinator based out of Ibiúna, Brazil. This role requires a strong background in baseball, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders in a start-up environment.
Responsibilities
Train pitchers at the MLB/Brazil Baseball Federation academy, working with various parties to implement effective short- and long-term strategies for participating athletes Foster strong communication and relationships between MLB, the Brazil Baseball Federation, Driveline, and local coaching staff to ensure coordination and buy-in across groups Incorporate and monitor player development technology to track and communicate player progress Work with MLB and the Brazil Baseball Federation on special projects designed to grow baseball across Brazil as assignedQualifications and Requirements
Experience coaching pitchers and working with baseball technology required; experience playing is a plus Willingness to work on-site in Brazil for most of the year required for at least two years Proficiency in either English or Spanish required; proficiency in Portuguese is a plusProvided
