Job Summary: 

Fit and braze copper tubing together to create Complex finished assemblies and subassemblies for chiller modules while reading and understanding blueprint/schematics. 

Responsibilities: 

Read 3-dimesional and 2-dimensional blueprints and schematics to determine dimensions, design and materials needed for performing duties. 

Braze pieces together as part of the assembly process for Complex skill requirements 

Brazing with variation in tools, material, and location of braze joints.  Able to braze in unit on most builds. 

Fabrication of copper pipe to fit assembly routes including cutting, bending, and preparation process for brazing 

Assist with other departments as needed 

 

Qualifications: 

Competency in reading blueprints and diagrams to interpret braze specifications and properly space brazes and routes. 

Able to use simple hand tools 

Prior brazing experience-Preferred 

Knowledge of metals and heat control to produce durable joints  

Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude 

Actively practices and promotes safety.
