**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Brand Technical Specialist focused on the IBM Storage Portfolio, you will drive the strategy, sale, and deal closing for Storage offerings. You will work closely with the Brand Sales Specialist and Ecosystem team to achieve territory objectives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop Storage Sales Strategy: Drive the strategy for selling Storage offerings, including Storage for Data and AI, Traditional Distributed External Storage, Storage for Cyber Resiliency & Modern Data Protection, Storage Networking, Storage for Z Systems, and Storage for Hybrid Cloud.
• Identify New Opportunities: Proactively hunt for new opportunities to sell selected products and deliver unique, incremental revenue/value.
• Maintain Technical Proficiency: Keep technical proficiency and product knowledge up-to-date to effectively leverage marketing and drive LTV.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with the Brand Sales Specialist and Ecosystem team to achieve territory objectives and drive sales.
• Drive Revenue Growth: Deliver unique, incremental revenue/value aligned with territory objectives.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Storage Sales Strategy Development: Experience with developing sales strategies for Storage offerings, including Storage for Data and AI, Traditional Distributed External Storage, and Storage for Cyber Resiliency & Modern Data Protection.
• Technical Proficiency in Storage: Experience with maintaining technical proficiency and product knowledge in Storage solutions, including Storage Networking, Storage for Z Systems, and Storage for Hybrid Cloud.
• Opportunity Identification: Experience with proactively identifying new sales opportunities and delivering unique, incremental revenue/value.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Experience with working with sales and ecosystem teams to achieve territory objectives and drive sales growth.
• Product Knowledge and Marketing Leveraging: Experience with leveraging marketing to drive LTV and keeping product knowledge up-to-date to effectively sell Storage offerings.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
• Storage Solution Expertise: Experience with Storage solutions for Data and AI, Traditional Distributed External Storage, and Storage for Cyber Resiliency & Modern Data Protection, including Storage Networking, Storage for Z Systems, and Storage for Hybrid Cloud.
• Sales Strategy Development: Experience developing sales strategies for Storage offerings, aligning with territory objectives and driving sales growth.
• Product Knowledge Leveraging: Experience leveraging marketing to drive LTV and keeping product knowledge up-to-date to effectively sell Storage offerings.
