Join us and be part of a global team that’s passionate about driving innovation and making a difference. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Brand Technical Specialist for the Storage Portfolio, you will act as a technical consultant to clients and IBM sellers, providing technical sales support for a wide range of Storage solutions. This role involves delivering Proofs of Concept (POC) and architecting Storage solutions that meet client needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Deliver Technical Sales Support: Provide technical sales support to clients and IBM sellers, including delivering Proofs of Concept (POC) and architecting Storage solutions that meet client needs. • Architect Storage Solutions: Design and implement Storage solutions that include Brocade Directors, Switches & Extension Switches, Cloud Object Storage, Elastic Storage Server, and other Storage products. • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored technical sales support to meet their needs. • Implement Storage Products: Implement and configure Storage products, such as FlashSystems, Hyper Protect Services, and SAN Volume Controller, to meet client requirements. • Provide Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and IBM sellers on Storage solutions, including Storage Archive, Storage Control, and Storage Insights. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Exposure to Storage Solutions: Experience with designing and implementing Storage solutions, including architecting and configuring Storage products such as Brocade Directors, Switches & Extension Switches, Cloud Object Storage, and Elastic Storage Server. • Technical Sales Support Expertise: Experience with delivering technical sales support, including Proofs of Concept (POC) and providing technical expertise to clients and IBM sellers on Storage solutions. • Storage Product Knowledge: Experience with implementing and configuring Storage products, such as FlashSystems, Hyper Protect Services, and SAN Volume Controller. • Solution Design Skills: Experience with designing Storage solutions that meet client needs, including working closely with clients to understand their technical requirements. • Technical Consulting Expertise: Experience with acting as a technical consultant to clients and IBM sellers, providing technical guidance and expertise on Storage solutions. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Additional Storage Product Knowledge: Exposure to other Storage products, such as Tape Libraries, TS11xx Tape Drives, and Virtual Tape Systems, would be beneficial in this role. • Cloud Pak Familiarity: Experience with Storage Suite for IBM Cloud Paks would be an asset in designing and implementing Storage solutions for clients. • Storage Solution Optimization: Exposure to optimizing Storage solutions, including Storage Copy Data Management, Storage Discover, and Storage Protect, would be advantageous in providing technical sales support to clients and IBM sellers.
