Brand Specialist - São Paulo/SP
What this position is about - Purpose:
The incumbent will work in Brazil - a market with a huge volume opportunity and a key growth driver to the AMERICAS region, where JTI is accelerating our organic growth and setting the business for success driven by our Global Flagship Brands with positive momentum and exciting portfolio initiatives.
Reporting to the Sr Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing two of our Global Flagship Brands in the premium segment whilst leading and executing brand & consumer strategies across multiple touch points developing effective short-mid-term strategies.
The incumbent will be supporting the senior management of driving, together with cross functions, thorough consumer-centric & competitive understandings via necessary consumer research, Nielsen, Trackers, and wargaming competition to produce winning "Where to play" & "How to win" initiatives to tackle regional & national opportunities of the overall Portfolio, Trade and Consumer strategies in line with business objectives.
The incumbent will drive influence and collaboration with other functions in the development & execution of all marketing mixes including product & packaging development, brand communication, consumer activations & trade programs; to elaborate & track effective brand activations to accelerate our sales growth.
The incumbent is a key player of the Marketing team and will closely collaborate with Trade Marketing, Sales, Regional & Global HQ teams to drive impactful engagements and quality execution that translates to a high conversation rate, growing off-takes, and organic volume.

What will you do - Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and high-quality development & execution of all marketing mix, including new product launches, new packaging, brand communication, consumer activations, and trade programs. Coordinating the whole innovation process by working in close collaboration with New Product Development and Research & Development teams.
Track the execution of new brand launches, push for, and support the building of relevant & cost-effective initiatives to help build disruption and sustainable equity and achieve business objectives. Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Sales to resourcefully focus our investments directly on the brands' targeted consumers in relevant touch points to build massive trials, awareness & equity with impactful engagements and quality execution.
Market analysis with internal data, Nielsen, Ibope, Social Listening, and Euromonitor considering market KPIs (Volume, Market Share, Share in Handlers, Weighted Distribution, and Numeric Distribution) considering JTI vs main competitors in the tobacco market.
Coordinate the Marketing Agency for brand activities development considering brand and HQ guidelines for core products and novelties. Focus on developing and enhancing current activities (e.g., POS Materials) and find innovative ways of communicating brand attributes considering the legal environment.
Considering brand market initiatives, enhance and develop new activities to support brand growth always taking into consideration the ROI of each initiative. Capture key info from market dynamics with stakeholders (e.g., SI/ Sales) to assess current and future marketing initiatives and activities
Responsible for the Marketing Budget control, investment compliance and support in the professional development of the Marketing Analyst.
