Overview Brand Manager Snacks Do you want to work on impactful brands used by millions of consumers around the globe every day in a high performing, fun and dynamic team making an impact from the very first day you start? Then you have come to the right spot! We are recruiting for a Brand Manager for Doritos, Cheetos and Lay’s Snacks in our Benelux Brand Marketing team. The Brand Manager is a key contributor in the development and execution owner of the brand marketing plans for The Netherlands and Belgium, working in close collaboration with colleagues from Sales, Category Management, Shopper marketing, Finance, Logistics, Commercialization as well as our European and Global Marketing Teams. We have ambitious growth targets for our brands in the coming years. You will be responsible for the full end-to-end marketing mix that includes campaigns, leading & owning the perfect execution of key marketing initiatives such as the roll-out of NPDs, communication plans (incl TV, online video, social media, etc), and significantly accelerating the Doritos brand into new growth channels. You will evaluate performance against aligned KPIs (i.e. penetration, Frequency, volume growth, SOM etc.) and make recommendations to course correct where needed. Through market analyses (trackers, competitive analysis, consumer insights, etc) he/she is fully aware of what is going on in the category and is able to translate these into concrete plans and actions and will report into the Senior Marketing Manager BNL Doritos, Cheetos, Lay’s Snacks. Responsibilities You will Support the Sr. Marketing Manager in: · Understand Consumer & Shoppers needs deeply, develop strong Category vision & plans, and always be one step ahead of competition. · Ensure locally relevant consumer and shopper insights are at the heart of strategy and activations · Ensure all innovation / packaging / comms / digital are locally relevant. Manage process to ensure key changes are delivered on time, this includes local briefs & agency management · Budget accountability, responsible for budget management and reporting (working closely with Finance). · Working with local (creative) agency teams on campaign deployment amongst others. · Developing Marketing Strategies and Plans in close collaboration with the Sector Category team and lead/own the execution for BE and NL market units. · Executing (local) brand growth strategy and owning the execution. · Responsible for ensuring all initiatives are in time and right quality. · Ensure perfect execution of our global sponsorships locally (i.e. FIFA World Cup & Formula 1) · Network with Europe Sector Category team and other WE countries and look for synergies and lift & shift opportunities of best practises: NPDs and Communication/Activation Qualifications Key Skills/Experience Required: · University Degree · Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in a marketing/commercial position within the FMCG industry. · Solid understanding of category management concepts and principles. · Good understanding of the customer, category, and the shopper landscape in all markets. · Excellent communication and influencing skills, knowing how to navigate in a matrix organisation. · Consumer centric thinking and perfect execution. · Functional marketing/brand building skills. · Creative, pro-active, ambitious, and entrepreneurial. · Result driven, enthusiastic team player and strong analytical skills. · Work independently given hybrid working and multimarket scope with also willingness to regular travel between BE and NL to attend key meetings. · Strong Team Player inside and outside marketing. Ability to take others with you. · Pro-active, Result driven and eye for excellent execution. · Strong Networker both internally & externally in complex multi-layer matrix organisation. · Strong Commercial acumen, able to translate marketing campaigns into strong 360 and E2E commercial plans that deliver on key brand KPIs. · Fluent in English & Dutch
