In South Africa, Sunlight is present in Fabric Solutions, Personal Care and in Home & Hygiene (Dishwash and Pine gels). Sunlight Dish is the market leader in the Dish Wash segment with 71.5% value share (12mm Nov 2025), a high UBS Score (91.1%) and the strongest brand power. However, the brand is under increasing threat from competitors, specifically MAQ Dish as well as DOBs. This role is specifically for the CORE. The key focus areas for the brand to win are: Turn Brand Power to GREEN by improving meaningfulness & difference – getting closer to the consumer through social first and always on content creation. New Good+ Innovation communication support. Price Reset: The brand has been struggling to justify it’s premium in the market, leading to share losses. Landing and tracking the price reset planned for Jan 2026 is critical. Leverage the Portfolio: As a brand we have been over reliant on the core and and key pack size 750ml; PPA and accelerating the premium segment is a critical focus for 2026. Win in white spaces: Accelerate USG in SEA. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE + Work cross functionally and alongside the global and local team to deliver the innovation projects across the innovation funnel from conception to deployment OTIF + Developing integrated communication campaigns for innovations/renovations + Interact with local teams to deliver a communication toolkit that is consumer relevant and aligned to local media principles. + Data analysis: Generating insights from data (Data Orbis; AC Nielsen; Brand Power) + Defining, Designing and implementing the brand plans based on the brands JTBD + Stakeholder engagement at BTs and other relevant forums; demonstrating a strong ability to influence. + Good financial acumen specifically in terms of budget management; Business cases and basic P&L Management. Managing the brands budget to ensure best ROI and phasing of spend + Working with and building relationships with multiple agency partners; Artwork Excellence and media teams. + Working closely with the customer and dComm team to develop strong unmissable executions.
