THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
This position will support the development of a key company strategic initiative, Brand Building. In this role, the Manager, Brand Building will support the strategy build-out, execution and collaboration across the enterprise in an effort to foster a brand building culture and work within Merchandising and cross-functionally to build and drive our GTM playbook for exclusive brands and franchises
YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
Business Area Strategy:
Leads the development and execution of the Brand Building through cross category collaboration and communication. Manages strategy execution and provides input and direction to Merchant partners on initiative. Participate in modernizing Ulta Beauty’s GTM PlaybookPartner with Merchants, MP&I, Marketing and other cross-functional partners on Ignite Brand and Only at Ulta (exclusive brand) development, JBPs, product innovation, marketing, supply chain, eventing, education and overall execution. Drive analytics and 3-5 year strategy for Ignite Brand portfolio of brands.
Merchandising Strategy Development:
Responsible for managing the development of Ignite brands and their ecosystem – with the goal of successfully growing/scaling their businesses at Ulta BeautySupport Ignite Brand Merchants with cross-category solutions Apply critical thinking skills and tracking management to help lead growth for Ignite Brands
Standup with cross functional support Brand Building Ecosystem
Develop and source content to aid in educating merchants on how to grow at Ulta BeautyBuild playbook on key go-to-market leversStrategic vendor management with key partner brands/council
Marketing, Education, Eventing, Stores and Finance:
Responsible for cross functional partnership around Brand Building initiativesStrategy build out, governance, briefs and support documentation supporting this effortWork directly with the DMM/VPs to update on platform KPIs, progress and ecosystem Oversee Strategy:Key launch 360 marketing plansDotcom Brand, Store StrategySampling, email and CRM Strategy, as neededIn-store Merchandising: Collaborate with buyers on securing and developing off-shelf placement
Analyze:
Proactively assess and monitor Ignite Brand business, inventory and investments as well as evaluate competitive landscape and marketplace to determine potential opportunities and develop strategies to address.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Bachelors degree required8+ years total experience in retail, preferred Buying at a Senior level experience at Ulta Beauty Must have both merchandising and MP&I experienceStrong established cross-functional expertise with Ulta BeautyPassionate about the CB space, ingredients and evolution of this platformHigh emotional intelligence/IQ and strong relationship management skillsHigh Energy/Positive Team Member, Collaborator and ContributorStrategic thinker with strong business acumen and creative problem solverCapability to lead brand meetings and presentationsDemonstrates enterprise thinkingProfessionalism and confidentiality requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP and SAP Hana a plusStrong organizational skills requiredExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenSome travel required
The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $115,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
