RaceTrac Company Overview

Job Description:

The Brand Manager supports the development and execution of strategies that help build a strong and consistent brand for RaceTrac. Working closely with the Director of Brand Strategy, this individual helps lead brand efforts across various teams to ensure alignment with the company’s overall goals. The Brand Manager has expertise in developing clear and unique brand messages and initiatives that support the brand both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

Supports Brand team with strategic brand planning and initiatives, including brand governance and consumer brand experience.Assesses emerging technologies and channels to identify those that align with our target audiences; offers thought leadership and guidance on adoption when appropriate.Partners with Market Research and internal teams to gather and socialize key consumer insights that inform brand strategy and stakeholder alignment.Partners with Marketing and Merchandising team members to create streamlined processes to ensure brand consistency in all consumer-facing materials. Provides guidance to stakeholders on how to apply the brand strategy, tone of voice, and positioning in their workOversees brand-related projects to ensure they align with the company’s brand and overall goals.Serves as a subject matter expert for brand-related questions and helps maintain consistency across different initiatives.Collects and presents information from agency partners and trusted marketing sources on the latest in the marketing world to educate and inspire the organization. Interprets consumer insights, market trends, and competitive data to inform strategic brand decisions and identify new opportunities.Leads complex, cross-functional initiatives in evolving environments, aligning teams and clarifying direction to drive progress.Brings new and innovative Marketing ideas to the table to enhance the RaceTrac brand.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university with an emphasis in marketing or equivalent experience preferred.5+ years’ experience in the marketing and/or strategic function of a brand-driven company preferred, particularly with a consumer-focused environment (retail, QSR, CPG, hospitality, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.Proven Project Management and Retail Management experience preferred.
