As a Senior Brand & Content Strategist, you will play a vital role in bringing that purpose to life for our clients and partners in helping to better understand them so we can better position how what we do and how we can help them solve their biggest challenges. IBM is seeking a creative and strategic Brand & Content Strategist to lead the development and execution of content strategies that accelerate software adoption and revenue growth through digital marketplaces (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). This role blends storytelling, brand positioning, and go-to-market messaging to influence the buyer journey in a highly competitive, cloud-based environment. As a key member of the growth marketing team, you'll work cross-functionally with product, sales, partner/channel teams, and marketplace managers to build a compelling brand narrative, content journeys, and demand-generating assets tailored to marketplace channels. Key Responsibilities: Brand Positioning: Craft and evolve brand messaging and unique value propositions for software solutions in marketplace environments. Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and manage content roadmaps aligned with go-to-market goals--ranging from product listings, solution briefs, blog posts, case studies, and videos to co-branded campaigns with cloud partners. Marketplace Optimization: Collaborate with marketplace managers to optimize storefront presence and ensure consistent, differentiated messaging across all listings. Campaign Integration: Design content that feeds demand gen, ABM, and nurture campaigns targeting buyers at different funnel stages in the cloud marketplace ecosystem. Thought Leadership: Partner with SMEs and executives to produce thought leadership content that builds authority and visibility on marketplace platforms and beyond. Performance Tracking: Use analytics to evaluate content performance across marketplace platforms and continuously refine content strategies based on engagement and conversion data. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Recognized expertise in marketing, brand and/or content strategy roles with progressive levels of seniority and responsibility. • Strong understanding of digital marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how buyers interact with software through these channels. • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills with a portfolio of high-performing content assets. • Ability to distill complex technical topics into clear, compelling content. • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and partner teams. • Data-driven mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or marketplace analytics dashboards. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, content strategy, or product marketing--preferably within a B2B tech or SaaS environment. * Proven track record of building messaging and content for channel/partner audiences. * Experience working in a global team, ideally with responsibilities across multiple geographies. * Growth mindset with an appetite to experiment and fail fast in the spirit of ongoing learning and improvement. * A portfolio that demonstrates a depth and breadth of brand, messaging and/or content strategy and development. * Personal eminence in Brand & Content strategy.
