About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Reporting Technology Team and contribute to building, scaling, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployments. This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and SRE teams to foster a culture of automation, observability, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. Maintain and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace). Manage and scale containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio). Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are cloud-ready and resilient. Implement security best practices in infrastructure, pipelines, and secrets management. Support and improve incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes. Advocate for and enforce a DevOps culture that emphasizes automation, self-service, and continuous improvement.

 

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer. Strong knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid background with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI). Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi). Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.). Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPCs, service mesh). Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd). Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Exposure to chaos engineering and resilience testing.
