Job DescriptionPerform pre- and post-bunker surveys onboard vessels and at shore terminals.Accurately measure fuel quantities using appropriate methods (ullage, temperature, density, etc.).Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 22192:2021) during bunker operations.Prepare and issue bunker survey reports and documentation in a timely manner.Act as an independent verifier during fuel delivery to protect the interests of stakeholders.Investigate and resolve quantity discrepancies or disputes during bunkering.Liaise with vessel crew, suppliers, and port authorities during operations.Maintain proper calibration and care of surveying equipment.Ensure compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) standards during site visits.QualificationsMust hold a valid Bunker Quantity Surveyor (BQS) license.Minimum [2-5] years of experience in bunker quantity surveying or a related marine/oil & gas role.Strong knowledge of marine fuel systems, tank calibration, and quantity measurement techniques.Familiarity with maritime regulations and port authority procedures.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs.Preferred Qualifications:
