**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Business Process Management (BPM), you will work with leading organizations to analyze, streamline, and automate their critical business processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to design and deliver process automation solutions using IBM’s automation ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
* Work with clients to understand business challenges, operational pain points, and regulatory requirements.
* Document and model current and future-state processes using BPMN standards.
* Participate in the design and implementation of automated workflows leveraging IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and related technologies.
* Support requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow design activities.
* Apply foundational technical skills (Java, SQL, APIs) to support workflow logic, integrations, and data validation.
* Collaborate with developers and architects to integrate workflows with content management, document capture, and robotic automation components.
* Assist in testing, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization of automated solutions.
* Contribute to best practices and internal knowledge sharing on BPM and IBM Automation.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Up to 3 years of experience in BPM, business analysis, or digital transformation—preferably in the banking sector.
* Solid understanding of BPMN 2.0 modeling and process documentation.
* Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
* Understanding of core workflows (e.g., onboarding, payments, lending, KYC/AML, operations).
* Basic coding skills in:
* Java EE
* SQL
* Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
* Comfortable working within cross-functional, multi-squad delivery environments.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Hands-on experience with IBM Automation products, including:
* IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
* IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
* IBM FileNet (content management, document workflows)
* IBM Datacap (document capture, OCR/ICR automation)
* IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
* Exposure to other automation/BPM platforms (Pega, Appian, Camunda).
* Understanding of decision modeling (DMN), rules engines, or workflow orchestration.
* Experience integrating solutions using REST APIs, services, or messaging systems.
* Experience with automation programs involving workflows, rules, robotics, content management, or process mining.
