HOW A Program Manager WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The GDIT Program Manager shall have full authority to commit labor force and other required resources to meet the overall requirements in support of the programInstitute and maintain a process that ensures problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution and provide timely status reportingTrack all actions taken to improve performance and update all applicable processes with lessons learned from commercial and government support experiencesEstablish and maintain a documented set of disciplined, mature, and continuously improving processes for administering all BPA and task order efforts with an emphasis on cost-efficiency, schedule, performance, responsiveness, resource management, and consistently high-quality deliveryDevelop, deliver and maintain and ensure compliance with the Project Management Plan and Integrated Master ScheduleProvide the government with monthly Program Status Reports (PSR) on the activities and milestones completed and deliverables submitted for each task for the past monthPrepare and deliver senior management level briefings, not limited to monthly Program Progress Review (PPR) consisting of a summary of all completed and in process task activities, planned task activities, issues, and performance metrics.Manage communication efforts to customers and stakeholders, including notifications related to unresolved issues as well as their status and actions taken.Ensure alignment of program deliverables to program outcomes for operational efficiencyQualifications:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 7 years of experience, Or Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationITIL and/or AGILE certification(s) preferredRequired Experience:
Experience with MS Project, SharePoint, and other project management toolsExperience coordinating the efforts of subcontractors, and team membersExperience in planning, managing and providing guidance pertaining to IT environmentsExperience in managing BPA or IDIQ Contract with multiple task/call ordersExperience with and accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables, and the implementation and measurement of corporate and client quality standards and methodologiesSecurity Clearance Level:
