Job Description: Preform daily duties including but not limited to safely driving company box truck or van. Loading, unloading and reloading parts between various locations.  Complete other shipping & receiving duties as instructed by supervision such as unloading delivery trucks, hand packaging parts for shipment and checking in/receiving shipments into the financial system.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform and document pre-trip inspection on vehicles including tow motors, notify supervisor with any unsatisfactory findingsOperate truck in a safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, on PCC properties, and various other locations to pick up and deliver products/materials, while obeying applicable laws, DOT rules and regulations as well as following instructions from direct supervisorDeliver products, supplies, and equipment as well as pick up such items needed as instructed by supervisorRecord, count, and verify product counts for shipmentsSecure loads being transported to ensure safe arrival at destinationOperate tow motor to load/unload trailer/truck when necessary and acceptableReport and receive instructions and directions via face to face and/or cellular phoneCleaning/general maintenance of trucks and equipmentReceive incoming shipments into Syteline (financial system) on the computerMove product and supplies throughout the plant to assist with production needsPerform other Mold Masters shipping/receiving duties as instructed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license2 or more years of experience driving non-CDL box trucks and other vehiclesMust be able to follow written directions and take directions verbally, by phone if necessaryInteract positively with plant personnel, trucking companies, coworkers, leads and managersTow motor driving experience preferred, but not requiredPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing plantGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong sense of time organization and urgencyMust have safe driving record, and must be able to pass driving record check and other pre-hire screening /*generated inline style */   All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /*generated inline style */ This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
