Position : Boutique Agent

JOB PURPOSE

To inspire and delight every guest through genuine, personalized service that reflects the spirit of Make the Place. This role aims to create memorable experiences that exceed expectations while maximizing boutique sales and maintaining the store’s impeccable image.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain the boutique’s image, cleanliness, and organization at all times.

2. Provide personalized service and assist guests in product selection.

3. Execute sales and payment transactions with accuracy, integrity, and efficiency.

4. Perform daily cash counts, manage cash floats, and reconcile transactions.

5. Apply brand storytelling and selling techniques aligned with Rosewood standards.

6. Participate actively in product displays, inventory counts, and deep cleaning.

7. Safeguard and properly use departmental and company property.

8. Maintain professional, courteous communication with guests and colleagues.

9. Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

 

 

OPERATIONAL DUTIES

· Warmly welcome every guest in an authentic and courteous manner.

· Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products, promotions, and payment options.

· Apply Rosewood, Forbes, and LQA service sequences consistently.

· Ensure product displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.

· Accurately record transactions in the POS system and handle cash responsibly.

· Prepare for and participate in monthly and annual inventories.

· Provide timely follow-up to guest requests received via email or PBX.

· Participate in boutique events, pop-ups, and promotional activities.

 

 

 

 

ONGOING ACTIVITIES

· Maintain product presentation and ensure proper restocking of merchandise.

· Create and update displays according to visual merchandising guidelines.

· Prepare and submit daily sales reports.

· Participate in daily departmental briefings.

· Apply consultative sales and brand storytelling techniques to elevate guest engagement.

 

PERIODIC ACTIVITIES

· Participate in monthly and annual inventory processes.

· Attend required training sessions and Make the Place programs.

· Support contingency and safety procedures when needed.

 

SCOPE OF AUTHORITY

Represent Rosewood authentically before guests, promoting the brand’s values and strengthening the connection between the guest and the destination through every boutique interaction.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience:

Minimum one year of experience in sales or guest service, preferably within luxury hospitality or premium retail.

 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Skills:

· Strong attention to detail, organization, and sense of urgency.

· Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful service.

· Team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.

· Proficiency in hotel and POS systems.

· Integrity and accuracy in cash handling.

 

Languages:

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Additional languages are an asset.

 

 

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

· Compliance with Forbes, LQA, TrustYou, and Preverisk standards.

· Adherence to Preferred by Nature sustainability processes.

· Active participation in departmental training and development programs.

· Proper care and efficient use of resources and materials.
