Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic systems and equipment. The role involves assisting in the development and selection of diagnostic tools and fixtures, maintaining good housekeeping of tools and equipment, and developing proposals for equipment purchase and maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged and/or malfunctioning robotic systems, equipment, and components.Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures.Develop and maintain detailed repair activity reports.Maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair area.Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions.Assume responsibility for the completion of assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills5+ years experience with assembly and troubleshooting.Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.Experience in robotics is preferred.Mechanical, Electrical, Troubleshooting expertise.Proficiency in ladder logic, PLC troubleshooting, and programming.Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical maintenance.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 or more years of proven competency in a technical capacity.Proven experience in troubleshooting robotic equipment and/or industrial automation systems.Self-motivated and highly organized.Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.Understanding of various types of mechanical and/or electrical test equipment.Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated.Hands-on skill set required; ready to learn and utilize information at a fast pace.Work Environment and Shift

The position is based in an indoor warehouse that is not air-conditioned, featuring large industrial equipment.

Must be open to training on days for 2-4 weeks then moving to night shifts.

Front Half Nights

Sunday - Wednesday 5PM -5AM (alternating Wednesdays)

Back Half Nights

Wednesday - Saturday (alternating Wednesdays)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
