A Paint Booth Operator or Technician is responsible for applying paint or other coatings to products, parts, or vehicles in a controlled environment, using specialized spray equipment. This role involves surface preparation, paint mixing, ensuring even application, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Booth Painter Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of the paint.Paint Mixing and Matching: Preparing and mixing paints, lacquers, or other coatings according to specifications, and matching colors accurately, according to paint job websites.Coating Application: Operating spray equipment (e.g., spray guns) to apply coatings evenly and consistently, achieving a smooth finish.Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects like runs, sags, or unevenness, and making necessary corrections.Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operating and maintaining spray booths, ensuring proper ventilation and functionality.Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols, including using personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area. 

Booth Painter Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and paint mixing.Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and maintain spray equipment.Attention to Detail: Essential for achieving a high-quality finish and identifying defects.Physical Stamina: May involve standing for extended periods and lifting materials.Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members. Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
