Job Description:
The Bookkeeping/Office Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial transactions, office organization, and administrative tasks. This is a hands-on position that involves balancing bookkeeping with general office management duties to support the company's operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tPayroll
•\tEntering deposits and expenses into QuickBooks
•\tAccounts payable & receivable
•\tJob costing/WIP
•\tFile & pay monthly and quarterly liabilities, employer withholding, sales tax and BWC
•\tReconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
•\tPrepare customer estimates & invoices
•\tJob flow tracking
•\tEntering orders
•\tPurchasing materials
•\tPhone duties
•\tOffice management
Qualifications:
Quick learner; independently motivated
• Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2017 or other recent Desktop version
• Windows 10, Excel & Word
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Maintain a positive attitude while working with deadlines, interruptions and unexpected situations
• Reliable transportation
5 years of experience as an Office Manager/ Office Assistant Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings.Experience working in a small business or startup environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).RECENT QuickBooks knowledge is a must to be considered.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
