Description We’re partnering with an innovative gaming company in Vista that is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant to support their fast-growing finance team. This position offers a mix of traditional bookkeeping responsibilities with higher-level accounting tasks, making it an excellent fit for someone who wants to grow within a creative, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities + Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. + Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and company accounts. + Prepare and process invoices, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements. + Support month-end and year-end closing activities. + Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports. + Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies. + Support budget tracking and forecasting efforts. + Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. + 3+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience. + Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software. + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations). + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. + Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or creative industry a plus.
