We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role will support the organization by maintaining general ledger activity, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Excel skills, and an understanding of P&L statements and balance sheet accounts.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts as needed.
+ Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
+ Ensure financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with company policies.
+ Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities with leadership.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
+ Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reporting.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
+ Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) preferred.
+ Experience with Excel preferred.
+ Understanding of P&L statements and balance sheet accounts.
+ Experience with account reconciliations.
+ High attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Strong attendance and reliability.
Work Environment
This position is fully on-site from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The company is a family-owned and operated concrete manufacturer with a close-knit team working in the office alongside the President. The workplace offers company benefits and hosts company barbecues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haines City, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
