Key Responsibilities:
+ Full-cycle bookkeeping: A/R, A/P, reconciliations, month-end close, and general ledger oversight.
+ Prepare financial statements and review with clients—helping them understand the numbers that drive their businesses.
+ Partner with clients and other accountants on payroll, tax prep, and year-end statements.
+ Find opportunities to streamline processes and support ongoing client success.
What You Bring:
+ Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience (public accounting a plus, but not required).
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH ProSystem, UltraTax.).
+ Dedication to accuracy—and to client service.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and UltraTax.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
• Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare basic financial statements, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data organization and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential financial information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client accounts effectively.
