Description We are looking for an experienced PART-TIME Bookkeeper ( 20-25 hours per week) to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role requires attention to detail and proficiency in bookkeeping software to support the company’s financial operations effectively. Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. • Accurately record and organize financial transactions in compliance with company policies. • Prepare and maintain essential financial documents, including reports and statements. • Verify the accuracy of accounting data and resolve discrepancies as needed. • Reconcile company accounts and bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
