Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong QuickBooks skills to manage day-to-day financial transactions. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial operations.
Responsibilities
Verify and process vendor invoices and expense reports.Schedule and prepare disbursements.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.Maintain AP ledger and ensure timely payments.Generate and send customer invoices.Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.Process payments and post to customer accounts.Reconcile AR ledger and resolve payment issues.Maintain general ledger entries and assist with monthly close.Reconcile bank and credit card statements.Prepare financial reports and assist with audits.Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Essential Skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting.Minimum 2 years of experience in AP/AR and bookkeeping.Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or construction industries is a plus.Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The company has a family-oriented atmosphere and encourages team camaraderie, including team lunches. The dress code is business casual, and jeans are acceptable as long as they are without holes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulare, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
