Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper in Chesapeake, VA. We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting/payroll specialist with preferred experience of 1-3 years in the construction industry.

ResponsibilitiesManage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently.Process invoices and purchase orders with accuracy.Perform data entry tasks related to accounting and payroll.Utilize Quickbooks and other construction accounting software for financial management.Apply basic accounting principles and job costing techniques.Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.Essential SkillsProficiency in Sage, Viewpoint (or other construction accounting software), and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and job costing.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 or 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or adequate job-related experience.Experience in bookkeeping and payroll.Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
