Bond Specialist

As a **Bond Specialist,** you will work with the Bond Manager to provide service on new and existing bonds. Ensure all actions are documented in EPIC. Acts as a liaison between clients and surety carriers to resolve service issues. **Your job responsibilities as a Bond Specialist:** + Provide exceptional service with accuracy through processing new bonds, renewals and endorsements marketing department and carrier required timelines. + Ensure timely processing of invoices and client requests. + Assist Bond Manager in writing new business by following instructions for execution of the bond. + Follow up on expirations with carriers making sure renewal of the bond or appropriate documentation is used if bond is not going to be renewed. + Renew miscellaneous bonds/notary bonds. + Use EPIC for commercial bonds, renewing bonds, billing bonds, prequalification letters, activities including accounting discrepancy activities and file updates. All documents are to be attached to the client in EPIC. + Update carrier websites as required. + Create reports as requested. + Become technically competent on types of bonds and coverages that are offered by the carriers. This includes working towards designations. + Continue to broaden knowledge of the industry with continuing education, learning markets, and accessing new ones when necessary for growing a book. + Ensures to follow agency errors & omissions best practices. + Other duties may be assigned. **Qualifications:** + High School diploma or equivalent required. + One year of previous experience working with bond or property and casualty account administration preferred. + An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications. + Above average math skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. + Must be thorough, detail-oriented and is responsible for working with confidential information. + Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs. **What makes us different than all the rest?** **Our Vision:** To be everywhere risk exists – today and tomorrow.
