Job Title: BOM Specialist

Job Description

The BOM Specialist will be a key member of the maintenance department and stockroom team. This role involves managing and streamlining processes related to Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment and materials. The specialist will identify duplicate materials, process changes, and manage deletions. Additionally, they will create and manage equipment and material BOMs, including new assemblies, to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage duplicate materials in the stockroom.Process material changes and mark materials for deletion.Create and maintain equipment BOMs and new assemblies.Execute transactions in SAP based on weekly priorities set by leadership.Utilize Excel to analyze individual items and their stock levels.Perform SAP transactions such as MMBE, CU, MM0T, M06, MD01, IB01, IB02, MM01, MM02, CVO1N, CV02N, CS01, CS02, IE01, IE02.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in SAP, specifically in handling multiple transactions.Experience in building and creating BOMs for existing and new equipment.Strong Excel skills for data analysis.Experience in maintenance department or stockroom operations.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift schedule, starting between 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM and ending between 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
