BOM Engineer
Job Title: BOM Engineer/AnalystJob Description We are seeking a skilled BOM Engineer/Analyst who will play a crucial role in both engineering and manufacturing. This role involves taking engineering change orders from our current database, creating workflows and bills of materials to be uploaded into our ERP system for manufacturing parts. The successful candidate will ensure product data quality in the Bill of Materials and material masters based on charted drawings and product documentation. Responsibilities + Create material masters and bills of materials. + Handle the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process by implementing changes into Teamcenter. + Review and document changes in drawings made by R&D into Teamcenter. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. + Experience with SAP, BOM, ERP systems, and PLM. + Ability to read and interpret engineering and complex manufacturing drawings. + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Design, or a related field. + Experience working with Engineering Change Orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in Teamcenter. + Strong data management and master data skills. Work Environment This position requires on-site work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The master data group is a small, close-knit team that offers flexibility with work-from-home options. Typical working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. After six months, access to Udemy is provided for additional training opportunities. The team consists of two consultants and two direct analysts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
