Boilermaker

UGL Industrials have a rare opportunity for a qualified and suitably experienced Boilermaker to join our Workshop team located at Bennetts Green. This is a permanent role that will see you working on our clients Power Station assets across NSW. This position is Monday-Friday 38hours per week.

This position is a residential role with no living away from home provisions or facility for non-local employees. Local applicants from the Newcastle region are strongly encouraged to apply.

This opportunity will see you join a highly experienced team with a reputation for delivery and working together with our customers to develop and provide solutions.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication

Read and interpret isometric drawings

Perform general day to day boilermaker duties

Previous experience with pressure vessels and heat exchanges desirable

Driver’s Licence

High Risk Work Licence – LF highly regarded

Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years

Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years

Ability to work effectively in a small team

High levels of attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Great time management skills
