**Job Title: Boiler Mechanic**
**Pay rate: starting at $35+/hour**
**Shift: 2-2-3 1st shift schedule**
**Job Description**
Provide complete electrical and mechanical maintenance support for the utilities systems in a high-speed bottling facility. Ensure that processing, filling, sterilizing, and packaging equipment are supplied with the necessary clean steam, water, compressed air, and other utilities. Execute repair work orders and requests promptly to ensure production needs are met, while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain a 1,000 HP and two 800 HP boilers along with a back-up fuel oil system.
+ Maintain de-aerators, de-alkalizers, and water softeners.
+ Conduct water quality tests for boiler water.
+ Monitor and maintain four Trane chillers and five evaporative cooling towers.
+ Conduct water quality tests for retort cooling water loop.
+ Maintain two Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems and monitor chemical inventory, including ordering chemicals as needed.
+ Maintain three large air compressors.
+ Provide immediate assistance to downtime situations.
+ Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make repairs accordingly.
+ Document all repairs and foster teamwork consistent with company values.
+ Follow all GMPs, clean work areas upon completing projects, and work in accordance with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
+ Perform additional tasks and jobs as necessary.

**Work Environment**
The facility includes areas that are hot, cold, and climate-controlled. Expect exposure to heights, loud noises, and varying environmental conditions. Adhere to GMPs and work shifts that rotate every other weekend, with 12-hour shifts. Prepare for potential overtime during the summer months, working with maintenance crews consisting of controls and techs.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Vacation/Benefits info
Given 2 weeks PTO right away, a month after hire. from 1-6 years of service you will earn a total of 144 hours. Cannot carry hours over into the next year, but can at end of year cash in up to 40 hours of PTO.
32 hours of sick leave for the year - will be prorated based on when their start date is if they get the full amount right away.
Retirement with 401k match up to 3%
Health insurance is eligible on 1st of the month following your date of hire.
Pay is biweekly
