Responsibilities: + Perform repair work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia, manufacturer, and insurance standards. + Follow all applicable safety requirements. + Verify accuracy and completeness of all collision repair parts. + Road-test vehicles to confirm quality of repairs. + Accurately record repair time per company time-clock procedures. + Track vehicle progress in paint shop and determine readiness for final assembly. + Document all work performed and test results. + Provide and maintain required personal tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, pliers, hammers, chisels, punches). + Return special tools to their proper locations. + Use shop materials efficiently and responsibly. + Maintain a clean, organized workspace—including daily stall cleanings. + Ensure customers’ vehicles are returned as clean as they arrived. + Stay current on the latest repair techniques through ongoing training. + Communicate constructively with dealership personnel to support customer satisfaction. + Report any safety or integrity concerns to management immediately.
