What will I be doing?
\nAs the Boatman, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nMaintain the order and safety of the hotel transfer boats. \nOffer necessary service to guests. \nConduct regular safety patrol, acting and reporting appropriately upon discovering any potential hazards on any of the boats used for transferring guests and team members. \nTake good care of communication facilities and skillfully operate all equipment in your responsibility. \nReport, examine and monitor with professionalism once suspicious personnel or articles are discovered, keeping a record of these incidents as well. \nBe hospitable to visitors and report any suspicions to the Management. . \nPrevent any flammable or explosive items, corrosives, drugs, hazardous tools, liquor or items labelled identically as the hotel’s property from being brought into the hotel. \nMaintain workplace cleanliness. \nFamiliarize with all restaurants, locations and their operation times in order to direct guests to the most convenient route to their destinations. \n\n\nSpecially assist elderly, children and the disabled. \nBe alert of drunkards, the incapacitated and the people who accompany them. \nDiscourage guests from bringing pets into the hotel area. \nInform the Duty Manager and Front Desk team members to register with the Housekeeping department if guests’ belongings are found. \nDissuade guests from carrying hotel property to prevent the loss of goods in public areas. \nPay special attention to those who come in with empty hands or bags and leave with bags. \nEffectively report issues encountered during duty and report to the duty supervisor or Assistant Safety & Security Manager promptly when needed. . \nBe familiar with first aid and fire emergency procedures. \nCarry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. \nThe Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice. \nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nHigh School or Secondary Vocational School graduate\nValid Boatman's license. \nProficient with hotel security operations. \nPossess a strong sense of responsibility and service. \nGood work attitude and always alert. \nAble to communicate effectively and clearly. \nKnowledgeable of resources and utilize them efficiently. \nLiteracy in English to meet business needs, preferred. \n\n\n
