Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Pay: $65/hour for local candidates
Travel Packages: Available for non-local candidates
Start: Immediate – Client is ready to interview and hire
Duration: Remainder of the school year
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA to support students and school teams across a K–12 district in San Bernardino. This role focuses on providing behavioral assessment, intervention, staff support, and positive behavioral programming within a collaborative educational setting.
Key Responsibilities in a School Setting
As the school-based BCBA, you will:
Assessment & Planning
+ Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
+ Develop and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
+ Collect and analyze student behavioral data
+ Participate in IEP meetings as the behavior specialist
Intervention & Support
+ Model and implement evidence-based behavioral strategies
+ Provide 1:1 and group student support as needed
+ Observe students in classroom settings and provide recommendations
+ Support crisis-prevention strategies and ensure a safe learning environment
Training & Collaboration
+ Train and coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff on behavioral supports
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including SPED staff, school psychologists, and administrators
+ Support consistent implementation of student behavior plans
Education & Certification Requirements
Simple and clear — candidates must have:
+ Master’s Degree (Education, Psychology, ABA, or related field)
+ Active BCBA Certification
