Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BMS/DCIM to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
1. DCIM & BMS Design and Implementation
Support the design and architecture of Tier III/Tier IV DCIM and BMS platforms for primary and secondary data centers.
Review and validate consultant and vendor submittals for DCIM tools, sensors, integration middleware, APIs, and interfaces.
Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, ISO 30134, TIA-942, Uptime Institute) and Qiddiya’s digital framework.
Plan the instrumentation layout for power, cooling, network, and security subsystems.
2. Systems Integration & Configuration
Lead the integration of DCIM/BMS with:
BMS (Building Management System)
EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System
EMS (Energy Management System
NMS (Network Monitoring System)
Smart City Command and Control Platform
Support configuration of dashboards, analytics, alarms, and automated workflows.
Oversee development of SOPs for DCIM platform operation.
3. Data Governance and Analytics
Establish performance baselines and KPIs (e.g., PUE, WUE, capacity utilization).
Monitor environmental and operational health of white space (racks, cooling, cabling).
Ensure sensor data accuracy, time sync, and integration integrity.
Enable predictive analytics and early failure detection using AI/ML models (if applicable).
4. Operational Support & Reporting
Provide Tier 2/3 support for DCIM incidents and anomalies.
Produce performance and compliance reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Support digital twin simulation and change impact analysis via MMS.
5. Documentation and Compliance
Maintain complete documentation of BMS/DCIM design, commissioning, and handover protocols.
Verify contractor implementation against IFC/IFR drawings and RFP specifications.
Assist in audit preparation for Uptime Institute and local authorities (e.g., CST, SEC).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, ICT, or Computer Engineering.
5–8 years of experience with DCIM tools (e.g., Schneider StruxureWare, Nlyte, Sunbird, Vertiv Trellis).
Experience in implementing BMS platforms for large-scale data centers or smart infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of data center power/cooling architecture, SNMP/BACnet protocols, and SCADA/BMS integration.
Previous work in giga projects or large critical facilities in KSA/GCC preferred.
