The Block Advisors Operations Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and business performance. The associate will be responsible for a variety of operational tasks, including managing office logistics, coordinating with departments, and supporting the integration of an acquired office into H&R Block. Additionally, this role will involve ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to both the H&R Block Office Manager and office associates. This person will be responsible for assisting others with client engagement, workflow management, up to and including delivering client outcomes. Day to day, you'll... + Assist Office Manager & Transformation Manager with the seamless integration of the acquired CPA office into H&R Block’s operations + Partner with Office Manager to create growth plans and client growth targets, which includes developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement + Assist in integration of the firm to Block Advisor's platforms + Ensure the office is using the appropriate network platforms to maintain client accounts and office programs + Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication + Provide operational support to CPA associates, ensuring they have the resources needed to perform their duties effectively + Develop and maintain project plans, including resource assignments, risks, and issues + Collaborate closely with the Office Manager to ensure operational processes are executed both timely and accurately + Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems to improve office efficiency. + Execute on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) + Maintain accurate records and documentation related to office operations + Other duties as assigned and appropriate for the office What you'll bring to the team... + Strong analytical, decision-making, judgement skills and the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision + Computer proficient can use MS Office and other web-based applications/software + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset that seeks to understand and exceed client needs + Must be capable of managing multiple tasks effectively + Possesses experience in tax, bookkeeping, and business services field, or has worked with integration processes + Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency + Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience + 3 years minimum related work experience It would be even better if you also had... + 3-5 years of experience in operations, including but not limited to corporations, small business services, and tax and accounting services + 1-2 years of experience with various tax, bookkeeping, and revenue-building software systems + Previous experience supervising associates is a plus, but this role does not include people management responsibilities Why work for us Since 1955, we have been leaders in tax preparation, financial services, and small business solutions.
