Job Title: Blending Operator
Job Description

The Blending Operator is responsible for receiving bulk materials, accurately weighing and subdividing them in strict accordance with manufacturing procedures. This role involves loading materials into automatic equipment and making necessary adjustments to ensure the proper mix of ingredients. The operator ensures that the equipment and working area meet all required sanitary standards, using small hand tools to disassemble, clean, and reassemble pumps, receivers, mixers, and other equipment.

ResponsibilitiesReceive bulk materials and weigh them accurately.Subdivide materials following strict manufacturing procedures.Load materials into automatic equipment and adjust settings for proper ingredient mixing.Ensure equipment and working area meet all required sanitary standards.Use small hand tools to disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment.Perform job activities safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.Assemble, disassemble, and verify sanitation of all process equipment.Essential SkillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy.Thorough knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic understanding of compounding work.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.Capability to obtain a forklift license and safely operate a forklift.Ability to support team initiatives to meet production schedule deadlines.Work Environment

The work environment is within manufacturing and production facilities. Employees can expect to work in a stable company that offers growth opportunities in one of the few contract manufacturers located in Orlando.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
