Blender - 2nd shift Location : MANSFIELD, TX, United States Job Family : Manufacturing Job Type : Regular Posted : Jun 30, 2025 Job ID : 57936 Back to Search Results Job Description Apply Now > Save JobJob Saved Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions: Blend PTFE per extrusion + Stage raw materials for blending operation on FIFO basis + Blend PTFE and Isopar to the specified instructions + Pour PTFE blends through screen into jugs, then weigh jugs + Enter all blends into WW3, place tags on jugs and brush off excess blend + Transfer jugs to the hot room and stage for extrusion + Transfer empty jugs to be cleaned + Wash jugs on a rotating basis + Change Isopar filters when needed + Unload PTFE from truck to cold room + Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices + Know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines + Report production issues to Direct Lead Perform work of an equal or lower classification Minimum Qualifications (relevant experience, education and/or training): + High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English) + U.S. citizen or permanent residency status required + Read work orders and specifications + Must be competent in basic mathematical skills + Must be able to work and communicate with peers + Must be able to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands Basic understanding of lean fundamentals preferred Physical & PPE Requirements: Standing, carrying, shaking, pushing, bending, balancing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, and working under very cold conditions in a room alone. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and ear plugs (85-90 dB) are all required PPE when working in the mfg plant. All PPE provided by Company. Shoe covers, coveralls and gloves are optional but required when working with carbon black. Will be required to participate in respirator program due to job task of blending carbon black for PTFE extrusion.
