This position is part of the BAE Systems ES Facilities Canal St Nashua NH Team, reporting to the Canal St management team.
+ The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform advanced BAS troubleshooting and repairs to critical BAS infrastructure in high pressure environments. They will be joining a high performing team of technicians and engineers who specialize in quick response / disaster recovery support.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders. Building automation technicians work closely with Building Owners, Facility Managers, Project Managers, Internal Technical Review Board, Sustainability, as well as other stakeholders to understand existing conditions to help determine their needs and goals to align with the ES BAS standards, provide technical support, and or suggest improvements / upgrades to their existing systems.
+ Internal team collaboration with support and Integration Engineer, Clockworks Analytics Program Manager and others to ensure our Facility is performing at optimal levels.
+ Support the installation and configuration of Supervisory Stations, Network or Unitary control devices, meters or other BAS / IOT related equipment that requires integration to the site s existing architecture.
+ Monitor system performance. Identifying areas for improvement, recommended upgrades to optimize performance, networks are communicating, settings are optimized for energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
+ The selected candidate will need to maintain their knowledge in the Building Automation Systems field and will be looked upon to continuously improve their skills and knowledge thru training (virtual and on premises), as well as attending or participating in trades shows / workshops / webinars that pertain to their discipline.
+ Graphics Standards. Ensure the user has a high-quality experience. Organize graphics database to enhance or upgrade the site s graphical representation.
+ BAS technicians are responsible for following the company's policies and procedures, including safety protocols, quality standards, and customer service guidelines. They are also to ensure that the building automation system complies with safety and regulatory standards, including electrical codes, fire protection codes, and energy efficiency standards.
+ The candidate must be proficient in open protocol Tridium Niagara building automation systems and a variety of other direct digital controls (DDC) protocols including BACnet, ModBus, Lon and PUP
+ Be able to install BAS control equipment, write and modify control programs.
+ Must be able to read and work from prints, wiring diagrams, sketches, handbooks and manufacturers documents.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ 6 yr with HS
+ 4 yrs with AA
+ 2 yrs with BS
+ Ability to get a secret clearance .
+ Tridium Niagara AX certification (or equivalent) (or achieve within first year in position)
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $85549 - $136879
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
