Reporting to the Sr. Director Strategy and Market Development this role is part of the
Single-Use Technologies Division. The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills, ability to analyze and provide recommendations based on disparate data sources, self-drive and effective communication.


What will you do?
The Bioproduction Data Analyst role will deliver critical insights to inform the strategy and economic quantification of business value propositions. The data analyst will work in close collaboration with product management, marketing, R&D, Biological Collaboration Center and commercial teams to develop hypothesis, refine scope and implement analysis

Using analytics and insights, continuously develop and refine modeling programs to assess economic impact of value propositionsSupport product marketing and sales with case studies and facility fit analysis for new and existing productsAid product development and process development with well informed decisions via process simulation and economic analysisUnderstand and articulate the impact to existing and new products with respect to product optimization and the impact of new technologies to the customerDeliver insight which will save time and resources during the exploration and development of new products intended for the external marketWork independently, and in coordination with functional teams to drive analysis and synthesize insights for executive reviewCreate data visualization tools help to identify conclusions and clearly share those analyses as presentations, reports or communications with customers (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, white papers, and email)Other related responsibilities as assigned


How will you get here?

Bachelors degree in life science preferred, finance, economics (Masters degree preferred)Experience in or a good understanding of bioprocessing upstream and downstream processes preferred2-5 years of experience as a market, strategy, or economic analyst in life sciences industryStrong experience using data, qualitative and quantitative inputs to refine business strategiesSelf-starter with the ability to take projects from concept through to execution with a high attention for detail and proficiency in managing complexityInnovative problem solver who is creative, curious, and continuously looking at opportunities for improvementAbility to function in a complex, matrix business environment is essentialExcellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation experience to large and diverse audiencesStrong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeProficient in Excel (advanced user), Power BI, (BioSolve experience preferred)
