The Biomedical Equipment Technician Internship responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Learn about and assist with electrical safety inspections, preventive maintenance inspections, & calibrations  Assist with identifying and rectifying any equipment deficiencies per manufacturer’s specifications  Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all medical equipment, network hardware, and infrastructure managed by the Clinical Engineering Department  Ensure all medical equipment meets regulatory standards and complete all documentation with regards to inventory, inspection, repair, parts ordering, and device labeling before equipment is returned to service
