Job Description:Reports to the Director of Biomedical Engineering. Manages biomedical systems installation, maintenance and repair activities for Essentia Health facilities in accordance with company policies, regulatory and accreditation requirements. In addition to human resources and fiscal management, responsibilities include: Customer relationship management & communication, vendor relationship management; asset maintenance management, technical problem solving; and project and operations management.

Manage day-to-day activities of the Biomed StaffEnsure accurate reporting of service completionsEnsure timely completion of Preventive Maintenance tasksEnsure staff accurately report attendanceEnsure staff comply with organizational standardsManage the schedule of the teamMeet with the team on a set cadence to ensure clear communication of organizational expectationsManages expenses related to service of the equipmentIdentify training opportunities for staff

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering/technology, information technology, or business/management

Required Qualifications:

5 years’ related experience, including leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the medical service fieldExperience with Microsoft Office ProductsFamiliarity with CMMS programsFamiliarity with NFPA as it relates to medical equipmentCBET certification

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

If overseeing Biomedical Imaging:

State of Minnesota Department of Health Radiation Control Unit License eligible or active
