Biohazard Lab Processor

Job Title: Lab Processor – Night Shift

Position Overview

We’re seeking a reliable and physically capable Lab Processor to join our overnight team. This role involves handling biological specimens and managing biohazard waste. Candidates must be comfortable working in a clinical lab environment and capable of lifting heavy bins throughout the shift. If you’re comfortable handling biological specimens and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves for some heavy lifting, we want to hear from you!

Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor biohazard bins and empty them once full (approximately 15–20 times per night)Safely lift and transport bins weighing 50+ lbsProcess and handle biological specimens according to established protocolsIdentify and dispose of damaged, leaking, or broken specimens in designated biohazard containersMaintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards in all work areasFollow all procedures related to biohazard handling and disposal

Qualifications

Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs repeatedly during shiftComfortable working with biological materials and wasteHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocolsPrevious experience in a fast-paced productionMust be available to work overnight hours consistently

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced lab environment where you will be on your feet for the entire shift, managing specimen collections. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting and disposal of biological materials and waste. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 7pm to 3:30am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.06 - $20.06/hr.
